Political Cartoon

I was tasked with creating a political cartoon that addressed the immense amount of business regulations in California. Based off these strict regulations many business are leaving California to do business elsewhere. I had to take this heavy concept and visually articulate it in a way that people could understand if they didn’t previously know about the topic. I used one of the most famous trademarks in California to represent the small businesses being “crushed” by these immense business regulations, visually represented as unaware, inattentive business loafers worn by the individuals creating these business regulations and laws.
